PlainCollege does not require user registration or collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. We do not ask you to create an account to use our services.
When you visit PlainCollege, our web server may automatically collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used solely for maintaining site performance and security.
Cookies
PlainCollege uses minimal cookies. We store a theme preference cookie (theme) in your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark mode selection. This is not a tracking cookie and contains no personal information.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we integrate third-party services in the future (such as advertising networks), this policy will be updated accordingly.
Analytics
PlainCollege uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
Analytics data helps us understand which pages are most useful, how visitors find our site, and where we can improve the user experience. No individual visitor can be identified from this data.
Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. We do not use any social media tracking pixels or third-party advertising trackers.

All connections to PlainCollege are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We implement reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to our systems. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
PlainCollege is designed as a general-purpose reference tool and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can promptly address the issue.
